The Russeteer tells the sad, strange story of a small town brought to ruin by the avarice and jealousy coursing through it. Three movements bring to life the Village of Altany, a town charmed by a Russeteer taking over the position of the Royal Seamstress. In three short tales the characters weave a tapestry of their own downfall, creeping in innocuously until it poisons the very ground on which they walk.
